TEN REASONS NOT TO TRAVEL WITH US
This is a list of things that can go wrong. We are not tour organizers or travel agents.
Our expeditions are taken to support species and ecosystems we have discovered through projects we sponsor or endorse.
If any part of this list bothers you, please feel free to contact the foundation with any questions either by phone or email.

10 Reasons Why You Should NOT Participate in a WSF Trip Abroad
1) WSF Project trips are expeditions to observe and collect photographic and other data on endangered and
threatened species and their habitats.
2) If you are a professional photographer, you will be expected to have patience with any
participating photographers who are learning. If you are an amateur photographer, you will be expected not to get in the way of professionals. Don't fight, don't squabble, and don't complain.
3) If you are a photographer or an artist,
you are expected to return some of your images to our sponsors so they can be used to promote cultural and ecotourism in their country.
4) If you are a photographer or an artist, you are also expected to
contribute some low-resolution images to the Wild Spots Foundation's data bank on endangered/threatened species.
5) This is not a tour, vacation, or summer get-away. We are not tour operators. You are part of ongoing biodiversity support projects. We are guests (mostly) of governmental ministries of tourism.
Things go wrong, itineraries are messed up, and chaos sometime reins.
Don't go if you are not flexible, patient, and understanding! If you are none of these, bring your Zoloff!
6) You are expected to participate in the daily itineraries.
7)You must have a valid passport; you must have valid travel insurance with you at all times. (We will ask for a copy of your receipt)
8) You shall give credit to Wild Spots Foundation as the owner of the intellectual concepts of these expeditions; producer and the sole architect of these deputations, programs, and projects; and work locally to promote the mission of the Foundation.
9) You will be expected to sign a Release of Liability form,
10)You must be aware of the following conditions that may or may not be present:
o Poor quality food or drinking water.
o Lost or stolen luggage, camera equipment, gear, etc.
o Food poisoning.
o Disruptive circumstances of travel via plane, or local automobile.
o Pickpockets or theft at hotel or elsewhere during trip.
o Sexual harassment and unwarranted sexual advances.
o Natural events, e.g. earthquakes, tropical storms, volcanic activity, etc
o High altitude nausea, nosebleeds, headaches.
o Drug availability and severe police/legal penalties.
o Possible terrorism/political instability; terrorist activity of any kind.
o Kidnapping, torture and death.
o Guerrilla warfare.
o Drug cartel violence.
o And any other unforeseen circumstance that
can cause problems, permanent damage or even death
including, but not limited to animal bites and attacks,
allergic reactions to plant materials, dangers found in the tropical rain forests both on the ground and in the canopy.
