This is a final itinerary for the Biodiversity Expedition, July 15-28, 2006.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions either by phone or email. Call cell number is   954-816-1974; email: barkerb@nova.edu. This project is divided in two parts: It may be taken as a  Kenya Safari and/or Egyptian Pyramids. 10 Reasons Why You Should NOT participate in this Expedition:1)      This is a real expedition; its sole to purpose is to collect data (photographic) of endangered and threatened species in their habitats.2)      You are expected to be a photographer. If you are a professional, you will be expected to have patience with those who are learning. If you are an amateur, you will be expected not to get in the way of the professionals. Don’t fight, don’t squabble, and don’t complain.3)      You are expected to return some of your images to our sponsors so they can be used to promote cultural and ecotourism in their country.4)      You are also expected to submit at least ten 11 x 14 color prints to the annual photographic exhibit in April 2006 at Nova Southeastern University.5)      This is not a tour, vacation, or summer get-away. We are not tour operators. You are part of an ongoing research project is in its twentieth year. We are guests (mostly) of governmental ministries of tourism.  Things go wrong, itineraries messed up, and chaos sometime reins.  Don’t go if you are not flexible, patient, and understanding! If you are none of these, bring your Zoloff!6)      You are expected to participate in the daily itineraries (shoot lists) given to us.7)      You must have a valid passport; you must have valid travel insurance with you at all times. (We will ask for a copy of your receipt)8)      You shall give credit to Wild Spots Foundation as the owner of the intellectual concepts of these expeditions; producer and the sole architect of these deputations, programs, and projects; and work locally to promote the mission of the Foundation;9)      You will be expected to sign a Release of Liability form,10)  You must be aware of the following conditions that may or may not be present:
  •
    • Poor quality food or drinking water.
    • Lost or stolen luggage, camera equipment, gear, etc.
    • Food poisoning.
    • Disruptive circumstances of travel via plane, or local automobile.
