3. ZOO
OF ENDANGERMENT: This site connects the Foundation's educational programs from the
field to individual members. One mission of Wild Spots Foundation is to create a real-time network of webcams monitoring endangered
species around the world. We have contracted with some leading toy manufacturers to provide a stuffed endangered animal for
each location that is planned for a 24/7 monitoring camera.
In the order form
below, Zoo_of_Endangerment, various animals are shown in their "e-cages". Specific locations and habitats are also mentioned.
This site is always "under construction." As webcams are installed, the links will be activated. Each web cam site costs around
$5,000 to construct and maintain.
Each of the plush
animals can be purchased. The money raised will go to the 24/7 webcam monitoring program so that these images can be broadcast
to thousands of school children on a continual basis and related curricular/educational materials may be provided to science
teachers without charge. These are high quality items and are excellent for gifts, holidays, and other special occasions.
Each animals comes with a story about the real animal that is being monitored thousands of miles away. It is a unique adoption!
When our web cams are installed, you'll be able to monitor the behavior, eating habitats, and overall well-being of these
endangered species.
